ORAL & PERIODONTAL SURGERY

When surgical treatment is appropriate, Dr. Farrell performs a range of procedures in-office, allowing many patients to receive both the surgical care and related dental treatment from a team they already know.

Treatment is based on your diagnosis, oral health, and long-term needs. When a case would be better served by a specialist, Dr. Farrell can recommend the appropriate referral.

SURGICAL CARE

Treatment Based on What You Need.

Tooth Extractions

When a tooth cannot be predictably restored or needs to be removed as part of a larger treatment plan, Dr. Farrell performs many extractions in-office.

Bone grafting may be recommended to preserve or rebuild bone following an extraction or in preparation for dental implant treatment.

Bone Grafting

For certain cases of periodontal disease, osseous surgery can provide access to areas around the teeth and supporting bone that cannot be adequately treated with nonsurgical care alone.

CAREFULLY PLANNED

Surgery Is Part of the Bigger Picture.

Surgical treatment is rarely considered in isolation. Dr. Farrell looks at how the procedure relates to the health of the surrounding teeth and tissues, any planned restorative or implant treatment, and your overall treatment goals.

Careful planning also means considering what comes next, whether that is healing after an extraction, preparing for an implant, or supporting long-term periodontal health.

The procedure is one step. The plan around it matters too.
